Thank you for writing this- I often discuss fueling with my coach. It’s so hard to get out of the ‘fasted run’ mindset- I trained for marathons and ultras believing that it would be helpful! Never mind the move more/ eat less mantra that has dominated my life for years….

I know, it's so ingrained isn't it. I've run marathons without any fuel, just a sports drink and wore this like a badge of honour! I now realise I probably could have run a much better time!
