The stickiness of labels

I think my eldest daughter is pissed off with me, not my first rodeo of annoying her, but this time it was different. I try my absolute hardest not to interfere in how either of my daughter’s parent their children, (which, both are brilliant) but this week I truly felt I had to speak up and let her know how I felt about something. So, after a lot of deliberating, I sent her a message; it went a bit like this “I know it’s none of my business BUT I really tossed and turned last night thinking about how “innocent” labels can be quite damaging to young children and I feel uncomfortable about some of the banter towards Lou Lou”.
